About Kerry Connelly
Kerry is passionate about helping women become everything they were created to be.
Kerry Connelly is a Certified Christian Life Coach and Human Behavior Specialist with over 25 years experience in Corporate, Non-Profit and Entrepreneurship. She writes a popular blog called Jerseygirl, Jesus and in January of 2016, she founded DoveWriters, the Christian Writer's Incubator. Kerry is a successful business consultant who specializes in strategic operations through her company Vision to Mission, and was recently named a finalist as a New Jersey Leading Women Entrepreneur. She is a graduate of the New York City Leadership Fellows Program.
A COACH WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING WOMEN SUCCEED
Kerry is passionate about helping women succeed in life and in business, and especially about finding their life's purpose. She believes that everyone is here for a reason -- to make the world a better place. Very often, women know there's something important they should be doing, but they are not clear on what it is or how to start.
As a coach, Kerry helps her clients discover their passions, interests, skills and expertise to uncover their life's purpose. Then, she helps them craft a step by step action plan to make their dream a reality -- and holds them accountable to it.
A PROGRESSIVE CHRISTIAN VOICE
Kerry's voice as a writer has made her popular in both faith-based and secular circles, bridging the gap between those who don't consider themselves religious and those who, like Kerry, might call themselves a Jesus Freak.
Kerry is mad in love with Jesus -- but that doesn't mean she doesn't struggle in her faith, that she's a "Good Christian", or that she is aligned with the Religious Right -- something she believes is actually not very religious, and not always very right. Her writing, which appears primarily on her blog, Jerseygirl, Jesus, reveals the way she lives out her faith: imperfectly, with a little attitude, and a lot of sarcasm.
Kerry is currently at work on three books: a memoir, a book of essays based on her blog, and a devotional (geared toward Christians who curse). Kerry's work has appeared in SheLovesMagazine, Daily Worth, and SavorLIFE Magazine.
About Lisa N. Alexander
Lisa is this funny, creative, visionary whose heart and passion is to see women around the world do well.
Lisa wants women to understand their worth, know they have a voice and be courageous enough to share their story and to live their truth. Lisa believes young girls have a right to an education and that all women deserve to live free of sexual assault and abuse. In order for that to happen, she understands that cultural norms have to shift and a new understanding adopted for this to be so. She partners with organizations to help make those shifts and also founded This Woman Knows—an organization dedicated to empowering women globally.
Lisa is called to share her own past experiences of confusion and self-doubt does so through her books, videos, blogs, and speaking opportunities.
Lisa is a multi-talented soul.
- She delivered her first public address at the age of five in front of a crowded church on a Sunday afternoon. With her mother’s words and Lisa’s natural inclination to perform, the church got a show they wouldn’t soon forget.
- She started out as a self-taught graphic designer before going to school and won awards for her work during her stint at a Houston weekly newspaper.
- She had her own photography exhibit in the 2002 FotoFest Show called, “A Few of My Favorite Things.”
- She and good friend Michica Guillory launched a popular magazine called N2K Magazine—a scoop magazine for parents so they’d know the latest on teen culture and behavior. Every once in awhile, the two get a request to restart the publication.
- She and her husband served as senior pastors for six years at a church they co-founded.
Lisa has been recognized for her marketing expertise through various awards and recommendations and her commitment to empower women and girls was recently celebrated by the SuperLady Live Movement.
You can certainly learn about Lisa through her writings and videos but it’s that first hug that will pull you in and let you know you’ve met someone genuine and full of God’s Love and Light.
